My K/D is 2.09 im not the best player in the world but I thought I could make a topic where we could give our own advice on how someone could become better at Call of Duty
1. Silenced Weapons - I use Scar H and this one is amazing with a Silencer its very accurate and with Stopping power it works wonders. Plus when your shooting away people wont see you on radar which is huge. I add scavenger to this because I find the gun doesn't come with alot of bullets.
2. Using your square map to your advantage - Not just for locating where shots are coming from but also if you see that your team is all in one area and your are on the other, and cant see the other team anywhere. If you have an air strike all you need to do is drop the bomb in one of the HOT areas if you see nothing on UAV or the radar. **Also one big tip I have, is if your trying to figure out exactly where a sniper is because he is too far away, the square map gives you the general location but if you want to know EXactly where he is Press the Start? button I think to get the whole map view and the red dot on the big map is his percise location so if your trying to get a lock on exactly then use the start or maybe its select im not sure but it will give you pinpoint exactly.
3. Be near the hot spots but not necessairly in them. It really depends on if you know where most of the enemy team is or not. Hot Spots are always great for picking off people or cleaning out... However if you stay there long you will probably end up dying there. For me it's more beneficial to stay alive then to die.
4. This is one of my biggest secrets! Turn down your aim speed to 2. I think the regular speed is 3. However having a slower aim makes it ALOT easier to line up a shot. It doesn't feel that bad even for looking around. The only problem is you have to make sure you always have your back covered because if someone is shooting at you from behind you can turn around but its not instant. To me its not slow at all and I get good turning range. I just feel like ill win ALOT of battles because when im targeting in on someone its easier to line it up.
5. Don't fall into the trap of dying in a spot and running back to that same spot. Sometimes it feels likea team will get into a trance of getting stuck somewhere and just keep trying to win the battle from there but keep losing and losing. If you get locked into an area then try to make your exit safely. Im thinking like Highrise if your in an office area and your team is getting flanked from all areas don't try to escape out the main windows or just run to the window to try to shoot someone. Try going downstairs or sit back further and try to pick off people on the outside or even camp abit if you have to! Again theres no point to run up a big death streak trying to make things right because it wont really happen.
Wondering tips from everyone else as well. I could always use a good read and anyway to help myself is good!
